Fall is almost here, and downtown Amarillo is buzzing with events, music, and community fun. From fireworks at HODGETOWN to the Tri-State Fair and everything in between, September is packed with ways to connect, celebrate, and support our neighbors. Here’s what’s happening this month:


Symphony Under the Stars

On Saturday, September 6, join the Amarillo Symphony (our very own tenants!) for an unforgettable evening of music under the stars at HODGETOWN Stadium. Gates open at 6:00 PM, and the program will feature some of John Williams’ most iconic film scores like Star Wars, E.T., and Superman. The night will close with a patriotic salute and a dazzling fireworks finale. Purchase Tickets Here!

Tri-State Fair & Rodeo + Parade

The Tri-State Fair & Rodeo is back from September 12–20, bringing food, rides, livestock, and fun for all ages. This year is extra special as we celebrate the 100th annual fair, a tradition that continues to bring our community together.

To kick things off, the Tri-State Fair Parade will take place on Saturday, September 13, at 10:00 AM. Floats, marching bands, horses, and more will make their way down Polk Street, right past the Amarillo Building. Grab a spot outside the Amarillo Building and enjoy the parade!

Tee Off for Tatas

On Sunday, September 14 at 1:00 PM, support our tenant Panhandle Breast Health (PBH) at the 5th Annual Tee Off for Tatas Golf Tournament at Comanche Trail Golf Course. Team registration is $500 for four players and includes 18 holes of golf, a shared cart, swag bags, meals, door prizes, and contests, including a $500 Hole-in-One prize! Highland Fling

On Friday, September 19, and Saturday, September 20, at 7:30 PM, the Amarillo Symphony will transport you to Scotland in a magical evening of music at the Globe-News Center. With bagpipes adding to the flair, this is one concert you won’t want to miss! Get Your Tickets Here!




Quartet + 1

On Friday, September 26, at 7:30 PM, enjoy an intimate evening of chamber music at Arts in the Sunset. The program includes works by Roussel, Mozart, and Mendelssohn performed by a stellar ensemble. A pretalk hosted by HPPR begins at 6:45 PM. Purchase Tickets Here!


Hoodoo Mural Festival

On Saturday, September 27, celebrate arts, music, and community at the annual Hoodoo Mural Festival at Arts in the Sunset. From live mural painting and music to local vendors, food trucks, and even a silent disco, there’s something for everyone. Kids 10 & under get in free, so bring the whole family for this vibrant day of creativity!
